Minit Stop Fried Chicken, Convenience Store and Gas Station

In 1982, our first Minit Stop store opened its doors on Dairy Road in Kahului. At the time, we were the only convenience store on the Valley Isle to offer hot food service and onolicious Maui Fried Chicken and potato wedges. Today we are 17 stores strong and growing, with eight Minit Stops on Maui and nine on the Big Island. Each store offers an island menu of “home-cooked” entrees along with a wide variety of fresh salads and sandwiches daily. But our top best sellers are still our legendary Minit Stop fried chicken and potato wedges!

Minit Stop also pioneered the first self-serve gas station on Maui in 1978. Along with food service, these self-serve gas stations remain an integral part of our services and are known as Ohana Fuels.
